Tuias is a ceramics workshop operating in Kytäjä, Hyvinkää.

In the spring of 2019, Tuias received new premises in Kytäjä, Hyvinkää.

The workshop has three electric lathes and two incinerators, the waste heat of which is recovered and recycled for the workshop's underfloor heating and domestic water. For this solution, Tuias received the City of Hyvinkää's energy efficiency award in 2019.

It is possible to participate in a spinning course at the workshop.

Course content: The course allows you to do it yourself, you will receive tips and lessons related to pottery making. You can be at the pottery wheel for about 1-1.5 hours and turn as much as you want during that time. The course lasts about 1.5-2 hours in total. Finally, you can choose 2 works that will be fired by the workshop at high firing degrees and glazed with food-safe and tested glazes. The price includes coffee/tea time & the workshop's own café pastry. There is room for 1-3 people at a time. Price 80€/person.
